Ken Deal, MBA, Ph.D., CMRP, Fellow PMRS is President of marketPOWER research inc.
and Chairman of Marketing, Business Policy and International Business at the DeGroote School of Business, McMaster University. Dr. Deal's Ph.D. is in marketing and management science.

Ken's expertise lies in the area of using sophisticated marketing research and marketing modeling to provide significant insights that help organizations build and enhance marketing strategies.
Company Experience
Dr. Deal has substantial experience in energy sector, wireless communication, health-related topics, pharmaceutical research, tourism, aviation industry, financial services, automotive parts and service, government services, clinical trials of medical devices, environmental issues, packaged foods, retail grocery and others.

He served as President of the Canadian Survey Research Councill in 2000/2001 and President of the Professional Marketing Research Society in 1998/1999. Ken was elected Lifetime Fellow of the Professional Marketing Research Society in May 2000 for his "outstanding contributions to marketing research in Canada" He is a Certified Marketing Research Professional (CMRP).

Published Book

Dr. Deal's book, Marketing Research: Methods and Canadian Practice, was published in April 1992 byPrentice-Hall Canada (co-author: C.Chakrapani).

Marketing Research: Methods and Canadian Practice has been the most widely used Canadian text in Universities and, especially, among practitioners. The second edition is now in progress. This book adds to Dr. Deal's other publications that have appeared in a variety of professional and academic journals.
